2013, A Very Long Year, Looking forward to 2014

I am very happy to see this year go.  It's been a tough one, but I am still keeping my head above water.  There are going to be lots of changes coming up in the near future.  First, it is almost winter horse show season here in Florida so I am about to get really busy braiding manes and tails.  Sencondly, I am preparing to go to graduate school and I am really excited about perusing a new career.  As always, I will be involved in horses in some way and of course I will be designing jewelry.

I am happy to announce that I had several nice sales from my Etsy shop leading up to Christmas and I have just opened a Zibbet Shop http://www.zibbet.com/harleypaws.  I will be listing different items in each shop so be sure to visit both.

Springtime!

So, I have terribly neglected my jewelry design blog.  I am currently working on changing that.  Late winter/spring is usually my busiest time of the year, but here I am with an unexpected "day off".  I have been busy in the horse world, but I have also recently been busy creating holiday ID lanyards and listing them on Etsy. Check out these lanyards that I listed for St. Patrick's Day and Easter.

I have also been busy experimenting with some new frit blends that I recently purchased.  I hope to be able to make more beads and I will post pictures soon!  I am also branching out more into the area of metal work, etching, and stamping.  Not sure where those creations will lead me, but I can't wait to explore them more.

Lastly, spring is finally starting to hit northern Florida.  I am starting to get busy with the garden and planting new spring flowers.  Maybe that will inspire me to make more spring jewelry.  Perfect for Easter and Mother's Day!

Happy Spring!
